Hello! My name is Angela Contrada.
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic high school teacher living and working in my hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Italian Studies from the University of Calgary and followed that up at the University of Alberta, graduating with a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), specializing in Second Languages. In April 2017 I completed the Professional Master of Education Program at Queen’s University with a focus in Classroom Specialist.
I work for the Calgary Catholic School District teaching English Language Arts, Italian and Spanish language and culture . I enjoy teaching so much, I spend my Saturday mornings at the Calgary Italian School working with middle-school aged children. My other loves include: collaborating, crafting, refinishing vintage furniture, baking, and spending time with my amazing friends and family.
I am a curious individual and a life long learner.
